The first association for the deaf in the UK The BDA British Deaf Association (BDA) was formed in Leeds as The British Deaf and Dumb Association (BDDA) on 24th July 1890. CRIDE Consortium for Research in Deaf Education in the UK sends out yearly survey results. The results of the survey are intended for heads of services, educational policy makers in local and central government and anyone with an interest in deaf education There are currently 230 resource provisions for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing across the UK. |
